VIPs and the media got a sneak peek at the newly renovated surgical suite slated to open next month.

These ORs and advanced technology position St. Vincent’s as the destination of choice for high-acuity surgeries of the future. Integration of the rooms with hospital colleagues and an enhanced patient family support structure creates the best patient experience available.

Guests toured the six state-of-the-art operating suites, integrated with 32 pre/post-procedure rooms. It’s phase one of the relocation of existing ORs to renovated and updated space.

The prime patient-focused areas were designed by those utilizing them — surgeons and perioperative staff.  Motion-sensored UV technology maintains the most sterile environment possible, while the fully integrated visualization technology and best-in-class air filtration/exchange systems provide optimal patient safety.
